Wednesday 6th July- Enter our Amazing Lego Competition

Do you love creating and building? Well, this event is for you!

To end our term with a bang, ex-Miramar North student Sam McCorkindale and his friends are organising a Lego Competition.  

Design your ultimate lego creation and bring it in for display at our lego exhibition. 

When: Wednesday 6th July 

Where: MNS school hall

Time: 3.00-4.30

Cost: Gold coin upon entry into the hall to view all of the creations

You may enter one lego model into the competition. Your build will be judged on story, technical ability, and aesthetics. Bring your completed models to the hall on Tuesday 5 July in a named box.  There will be an opportunity to build creations at school with school LEGO to also enter the competition. The winners will be announced at 4:30 PM on the day.  

We will hopefully be selling baked goods for an afterschool treat as well. 

Have a look at the school’s office for a display of Sam and his crew’s creations for inspiration. 

COME ON MNS, GET BUILDING!

Money will go towards STEM (science, technology, engineering and maths) resources for our tamariki. It’s fabulous that an ex-student now at college wants to give back to our school as he has fond memories of his time at MNS – please support this great cause.
