Principal’s Welcome
Hello and welcome to our fabulous school! I am proud to be the Principal of a motivated, engaged and inclusive learning community. On behalf of the staff and Board of Trustees of Miramar North School, I extend a very warm welcome to all of you.
We live in everchanging and exciting times. As educators, we are given the extraordinary power to shape the future of our children and the citizens they hope to become.
In response to an ever-changing landscape of the 21st century, our curriculum is an evolving map which is signposted by meaningful learning contexts, our values, and the skills and attributes we know to be critical to success in this century e.g. being team players, problem solvers & creative thinkers.
We want our children to have a strong set of values and to be confident, connected and independent; we want them to be problem solvers, to always think of others, to have goals and to work hard. Most of all, we want children to have fun and to build an army of friends as they travel through Miramar North School.
