Tēnā koutou katoa,

COVID

That dreaded Covid is present in all syndicates throughout the school including parents and staff. Please keep your children home if they are unwell and test them if they are symptomatic.

TEACHER ONLY DAY – THURSDAY 28TH MARCH

School is closed on Thursday 28th March so that we can have our Parent Teacher interviews. Only come in if you have an appointment for an interview.

EASTER TUESDAY

Tuesday 2nd April is Easter Tuesday. All schools will be closed as this is a school holiday (not a public holiday).

PARENT TEACHER INTERVIEWS

As per usual, we will have two dates for parent-teacher interviews. This acknowledges that some parents can come during the day and some prefer an after work timeframe. We like children to be involved but it is up to you if you’d like them to be part of the interview

1. The first parent teacher interview day/evening is Tuesday 26th March, after school, starting at 3:20pm.

2. The second parent teacher interview day is part of a Teacher Only Day on Thursday 28th March starting at 9:30am.

More information on how to book the interviews will be sent out soon.

* Kidshub will be open on this day. Please book directly with Kids Community Hub

Please note: If there aren’t at least 15 children enrolled, Kidshub will not be able to offer this service.

EDIBLE GARDENS /DRIVEWAY GARDENS OPENING – OPEN TO ALL PARENTS

We warmly invite you to the opening of these wonderful Mara Kai ō Tupuānuku Edible Gardens on Thursday 14 March at 2:20pm in our school hall. We will sing a few songs, even some that have an edible theme, and the MNS Kapa haka will perform. We can then go outside to cut the ribbon and close the ceremony. Please follow this link for more information about the gardens. Mara Kai ō Tupuānuku Edible Gardens

Please have all orders in by Friday 22nd March. No late orders please as it takes a while to collate all the numbers and then to give Dominoes plenty of warning. We usually purchase around 80 pizzas!
